MA in Integrated Marketing Communications

In May of 2017 I earned my Master’s Degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Marist College. This 2 year program was extremely challenging and provided me with the skills to plan, execute and track comprehensive marketing campaigns. Each semester, I had the pleasure of working with other professionals from differing areas of communications, which helped me develop a more universal understanding of the areas of communications we were studying. This program afforded me an in-depth and holistic understanding of all aspects of Marketing Communications including graphic design, branding, digital and traditional advertising, social media, public relations, direct mail, email marketing and thought leadership. In 2018 my career catapulted into a new and exciting direction when I accepted my current position as the Director of Communications Operations at Fidelis Care, a State-wide health insurance company. I’m very grateful for my education and the many skills and strategies I’ve learned that make me a well-rounded MARCOM professional.

BFA in Graphic Design

I earned my BFA in graphic design from the New York State University of Oswego. Throughout this 4 year program I acquired the creative and technical skills needed to succeed in graphic design and visual communications. The program was very challenging, it emphasized creativity, design principles, functionality, and trained me to critically critique design work at a professional level. Professors also stressed the importance of creating technically sound files, so when marketing campaigns launch or collateral is produced the final products are the highest quality. I built a strong student portfolio and was gainfully employed as a graphic designer shortly after completing the program.
